Sabertoothed Cats

Back to Fossils

Discovered during the Page Museum's construction, this skull of a sabertoothed cat is the only one known to be found with its jaw closed. This amazing specimen not only shows how their teeth functioned in the closed position but also shows that a sabertoothed could fully close its jaw while alive.
