Schedule a School Visit:

To save time and ensure a problem-free registration, please read and follow the guidelines carefully. We encourage you to register very early since school visits fill quickly.

Guided School Visits
These visits are available for 3rd grade classes and above only and are offered on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, every half-hour between 9:30-11:00am, and until 10:30am on Fridays. These guided tours are offered during the traditional school year until June 6th, 2008.

Guided tours are not offered from: 12/22/07-1/8/08; 3/17/08-3/21/08; due to holiday breaks.

Self-guided Visits
Self-guided visits are available to all grade levels all day Mondays and Tuesdays, and after 12 noon Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, during scheduled breaks (see above), and on all days after June 17th, 2005. K-2nd grade classes must visit on these self-guided days, as guided visits are only available for 3rd grade and above.

Furthermore, educators are welcomed free to the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Simply present a valid teacher's ID card at the admissions desk.

Does Your School have a District Representative?

Public schools located within the following districts must contact the district office for Museum and Field Trip reservations. Because these school district personnel schedule all Museum reservations, teachers need not contact the Museum directly.
