Dwarf Pronghorn

Pronghorn Skeleton Standing only two feet tall, the dwarf pronghorn was one of the smallest ruminant herbivores found at Rancho La Brea. The dwarf pronghorn was superficially similar to modern day pronghorns, but was smaller and had horns with two distinct prongs, instead of one.

Foot Note!
Living pronghorns have been credited as the fastest land animal on Earth over sustained distances. They can run at speeds up to 40 m.p.h. (65 km/h) for several miles!
